Ubisoft has finally fixed the bug that occurred after it tried to resolve the development issues in the shared-world shooter’s build generation system. The bug completely broke the company’s ability to update the game.
Ubisoft‘s Division 2 made a debut in 2019 and it includes 10 seasons worth of content. The company was scheduled to launch the Season 11 of the game on February 7, 2023, however, the update got delayed owing to issues in the company’s localisation process.
“In preparing for Season 11, we began experiencing a series of delays in our localisation process, consequently impacting the experience for many players around the world…it is important for us to provide the best player experience possible with this update, and releasing on the scheduled February 7 date would not deliver that,” the company had said at the time.

Shortly after, the company reported while it was developing an update to fix the localisation issue that it has encountered, it came across another error that botched the build generation system for the game. This issue made it impossible for the game developer to update any aspect of the game.
“In the past, when a Season was delayed, we extended the previous Season’s activities. Unfortunately, this is not possible in the current situation, as we are unable to make server or client-side updates until the build generation system is restore,” the company wrote in a separate post.
“We have made good progress over the last 96 hours and have been able to restore critical aspects of the system and will share the timeline for resolution when available,” the development team for Division 2 wrote in the update.
Now, nearly two days after reporting issues in the build generation system, the company has said that it has finally resolved all the issues and that it is now able to update the game.
